The two oldest buildings on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus have gotten a strong dose of tender loving care in recent months, with careful attention to preserving their historic status and character.
- A history of presidential visits to campus Sept. 24, 2010 Although President Obama’s campus visit on Tuesday is the first by a sitting president since May 14, 1950, campus hosted many other sitting presidents, past presidents and candidates who would go on to win the Oval Office. Here is a list of visits by presidents — past, sitting and future — based on a search of university archival material and the State Historical Society.

Yes, the song "On, Wisconsin!" has hit the century mark, and Badger fans with spirit to spare can create their own versions of the song and submit them to a contest that will run throughout the academic year.
- Spooner research station marks centennial Oct. 14, 2009 On Tuesday, Oct. 20, the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Spooner Agricultural Research Station will celebrate its 100th birthday and commemorate a milestone in the history of Wisconsin agriculture.

He's sat, stone-faced, through snowstorms and student protests, and he's endured as countless graduates crawled into his lap to whisper their aspirations into his ear and, maybe, kiss his cheek. One hundred years ago today (June 22), the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Abraham Lincoln statue was unveiled atop Bascom Hill.

Jim Huberty, who was a political science student at the University of Wisconsin during the Vietnam War era of the late 1960s and early 1970s, is displaying select pieces of his collection of protest publicity posters through March 11 in an exhibit, “Revolution’s Wallpaper,” in the Class of 1925 Gallery at Memorial Union, 800 Langdon St., on the UW-Madison campus.
