- Window washers bring a shine back to campus buildings June 12, 2012 From the inside of each campus building, most people probably see out of a few windows each day – if they’re lucky enough to have window access at all. Those windows need to be cleaned, and Campus Services is tUW-Madison’s go-to crew for odd jobs. The same people who manage interdepartmental mail delivery and move furniture also clean nearly every window across campus.

Whether you can check them out in person or can only admire from afar, here are some of the locations that no doubt inspired Newsweek and The Daily Beast to rank UW–Madison as the second-most beautiful college campus.
- Update: Phone service restored to Bascom Hill Sept. 9, 2011 Phone service to most or all of Bascom Hall, North Hall, South Hall and possibly other nearby buildings will be unavailable beginning the evening of Friday, Sept. 9. The outage will last through the weekend.
