- Seventeen state government officials complete Certified Public Manager program May 7, 2007 Seventeen managers from Wisconsin state and local government will become Wisconsin Certified Public Managers at a ceremony at the State Capitol on May 11. The nationally accredited certification is achieved through completion of 300 instructional hours in the Wisconsin Certified Public Manager Program administered by the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
