Conference to explore apparel trademark, licensing

Issues concerning the manufacture of university-branded apparel will be discussed at the UW Trademark Licensee Conference on Wednesday-Thursday, March 24-25, at the Pyle Center. Topics include sweatshops and licensing, wage disclosure, labor rights and working conditions. The conference is presented by the Office of the Chancellor, the Labor Licensing Policy Committee and the Student Labor Action Coalition.
