“I’m very honored to be selected, and I’m excited to continue working with the talented and dedicated leadership and staff of the Division of Enrollment Management,” Hahn says.

Hahn first joined UW–Madison in 2003 as chief information officer for the Graduate School. He has a bachelor of science degree in economics/political science from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, and a master of arts in history from UW–Madison.

“We are fortunate to have someone with Steve’s talent and skills for this vital role,” says Provost Sarah Mangelsdorf. “His leadership will continue to benefit UW–Madison.”

The vice provost for enrollment management, who reports to the provost, provides leadership in planning, developing, executing and assessing a strategic undergraduate enrollment management plan for the university. The position is also responsible for overall administration and vision for the Division of Enrollment Management, which is comprised of the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, the Office of Student Financial Aid, the Office of the Registrar and the central office of the Integrated Student Information System. Collectively, the offices within the division provide support and services to students throughout their experience at UW–Madison.
