Recent Sightings: Stadium cinema

Everything was awesome – the weather, the crowd and the movie – as more than 6,000 people made themselves at home on the football field and in the stands of Camp Randall Stadium to watch a free, public screening of “The Lego Movie” on Thursday, June 26. The movie was shown on the stadium’s 100-by-42-foot video screen.

It was a great night to kick off your shoes and enjoy a movie from a blanket on the football field. More than 6,000 people made themselves at home.

Kids ran to daylight on the football field as families enjoyed “The Lego Movie,” a selection that was chosen by an online fan vote.
