Administrative Excellence forum May 10

May 2, 2013

A campus forum on the progress of Administrative Excellence (AE) projects will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 10, in Varsity Hall at Union South.

The main topic for the forum will be the work of the Enterprise IT Decision-Making team, which was asked to come up with three to five potential models for improving the process for which they were named. The team was also asked to develop a comprehensive business case for the implementation of the recommended model.

The team has completed its work and will present a summary of it, as well as introducing the new model to campus.

Time permitting, an update on all AE projects will be provided at the forum. Under the guidance of the Administrative Process Redesign program, many of the AE projects are currently being implemented or are moving toward implementation.

All university staff are invited to the forum and may attend without loss of pay. Staff should make arrangements with their supervisors before attending. No registration is required.

Varsity Hall is on the second floor of Union South, which is located at 1308 W. Dayton St. The Route 80 campus bus stops near Union South at the intersection of Randall Avenue and Engineering Drive.

Staff are encouraged to visit the AE website for information on the Administrative Excellence initiative and project updates.
