Schroeder named Graduate School associate dean

Petra Schroeder, who has served since 2000 as assistant dean for research services in the Graduate School, has been named associate dean for administration.

In her new role, Schroeder will serve as the Graduate School’s chief financial officer, oversee facilities management, and supervise accounting, human resource management, research administration and information technology services.

Schroeder received her art and business degrees from UW–Madison and worked previously as the administrative manager for the UW–Madison Laboratory of Molecular Biology.
