May 22, 2012 By Greg Bump

HR Design phase 2 work teams – Employee Development, Performance Management, Transition and Succession, and Workplace Flexibility
– will hold an hour-long Web chat beginning at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 23.

The four phase 2 work teams released preliminary recommendations last week and are looking for feedback from campus. The draft recommendations can be found at http://hrdesign.wisc.edu/phase-ii-work-team-draft-recommendations/.

The Web chat is one of a series of campus engagement events planned to gather feedback on the phase 2 draft recommendations.

A campus engagement event is scheduled for 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, in the Memorial Union’s Great Hall. The session will be in English and Spanish.

Another session is set for 11 p.m. Tuesday evening, designed for second- and third-shift workers, in the Class of 1924 Reception Room in the Memorial Union. The session will last 90 minutes and will be in English, Tibetan and Hmong.

Questions or comments may also be sent to hrdesign@news.wisc.edu.

The phase 2 teams will integrate the feedback into revised recommendations to be released Tuesday, June 19.

Meanwhile, phase 1 teams – Benefits, Compensation, Competencies, Diverse Workforce, Employee Categories, Recruitment, and Assessment and Titling – will release their revised recommendations on Wednesday, May 23, on the project website, http://hrdesign.wisc.edu.
