Text versions of comment cards from Pamela O’Donnell story

September 13, 2011

The follow is a transcript of the sample comments and responses shown in images of comment cards used in the profile of Collge Library librarian Pamela O’Donnell.

Comment: “I just left 50 minutes ago to take an exam. Now I am back. I think there should be frequent studyer awards. Is ‘studyer’ a word? Is it spelled with a “I” or a “y’? … I think I will nap on the bean bags now. … FML.

Response: “So, how’d you do on that exam?”

Comment: “I imagine you smell lovely. But only in a non-creepy way. That is all.”

Response: “Thanks for the compliment. As a matter of fact, I mostly smell like a combination of pizza boxes, coffee breath and Axe Body Spray. The joys of being a 24-hours library!”

Comment: “Do you know how strong a monkey is?”

Response: “Wicked strong.”

Comment: “Please give a raise to whomever answers these comment/suggestion cards. They are clearly brilliant.”

Response: “I feel compelled to compliment you on your perspicacity.”
