Domestic-partner health-insurance celebration planned

The UW–Madison community is invited to a celebration and question-and-answer session about domestic-partner health-insurance benefits.

The session will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, in the Main Lounge of Memorial Union.

In addition to refreshments, staff from the Office of Human Resources will be on hand to answer questions about the state’s recent action authorizing domestic-partner health insurance and the impact on UW–Madison employees.

The event will be hosted by Chancellor Biddy Martin, in partnership with the LGBT Campus Center, LGBT Issues Committee, the provost’s office and the Domestic Partner Health Insurance Task Force.
