&lt;p&gt;Playing piano since age 9, Buckwheat Zydeco came to the limelight in 1984 with his &amp;ldquo;Zydeco Boogaloo,&amp;rdquo; one of the genre&amp;rsquo;s signature songs. An electrifying performer and expert keyboards and accordion player, Zydeco is an innovator who crafted a bold new sound for zydeco. Most lately, he recorded two  Bob Dylan songs with Yo La Tengo for the 2007 film &amp;ldquo;I&amp;rsquo;m Not There.&amp;rdquo; Zydeco also is a four-time Grammy nominee.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The performance/dance party is scheduled for 8 p.m. on Wednesday, &lt;abbr title="February"&gt;Feb.&lt;/abbr&gt; 18, at the Memorial Union&amp;rsquo;s  Great Hall.&lt;/p&gt;
