The third installment in a weekly video report showcasing major ideas emerging from the <a href="http://www.greatu.wisc.edu/">UW-Madison 2009 Reaccreditation Project</a> features housing director Paul Evans and library sciences professor Louise Robbins. <a href="http://www.greatu.wisc.edu/themes/theme6-video.html ">View the duo’s discussion of the theme “Being a Responsible and Sustainable Public Institution.”</a> Each video features interviews with leaders of the six reaccreditation “theme teams.” The teams were built around the top priorities for UW-Madison’s future, as identified through extensive input from faculty, staff, students, alumni and the public. The “theme teams” forged recommendations for the university that are being finalized in a report to the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Evans and Robbins were charged with exploring the ethical issues shaping the university’s future.
