University names new director of Administrative Legal Services

Lisa Rutherford, a 14-year veteran of the legal affairs team, has been named the new director of Administrative Legal Services.

New Primate Center library director named

Raymond Hamel, a 25-year veteran of the Lawrence Jacobsen Library at the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center, was named its new director of library and information services. Hamel will oversee all library operations, including design and development of the library’s international Web site for primatology, Primate Info Net. He also will serve as a member of the design team for PrimateLit, an international database for primate literature. He has been the media reviews editor for the American Journal of Primatology for the past five years and is a co-author of “Internet Resources in Primatology, ILAR Journal.” Hamel also is the author of “The New York Times Trivia Quiz Book” and co-author of “Star Trek Crosswords,” among several other puzzle books.
