2010 Photographers’ Choice

It’s been another energetic year at the University of Wisconsin–Madison — and we have the photos to prove it. Throughout our four distinct seasons, students learned in ways both time-honored and innovative, laboratories buzzed with the excitement of discovery, visitors of all ages explored a thriving campus, and wildlife and nature reminded us to slow down and take it all in.

University Communications photographers captured these moments and more, then selected among thousands of images to create this collection. In a year in which we welcomed a sitting president, we completed major building projects, we strengthened academic ties with China, we celebrated the arts, and we earned a ticket to the Rose Bowl, this Photographers’ Choice was far from easy.
