Lost: The Winter Episode
Is it any wonder that Wisconsinites lose possessions during our seemingly endless winter? After all, when we’re juggling hats, scarves and mittens along with the usual keys, cell phones, books, lunch bags and what have you, something’s bound to be dropped.
And apparently left right where it lands.
Pay attention when walking on campus, as senior university photographer Jeff Miller did recently, and you’ll spot all sorts of items. A hat buried under the latest snowfall. A set of keys propped up for better display — and a possible reunion with their owner. A perfectly good shoe high in a bush. Did the water bottle and bike lock fall out of a backpack? We’ll never know, but we can sympathize.
