Scientists and engineers seeking to make modern electronics ever smaller believe liquid will be used to cool next generation computers. Here, tiny (0.017 inch) nozzles impinge fluid on an electronics package. Mostly by accident, this photo was taken as pressure in the experiment began to fall, creating a surreal image of vapor mixing with liquid and distorting the picture of evenly spaced nozzles.
