Every four years, the Art Department’s faculty exhibition unites the university’s educational and artistic missions. On Feb. 3, 2012, visitors to the Chazen Museum of Art got their first look at “Compendium 2012,” showcasing current works by 46 current and emeritus faculty, staff and affiliates. Both buildings of the Chazen display paintings, drawings, sculpture, graphics, ceramics, textiles, woodwork, metalwork, glass, prints and photographs, as well as performance, video and digital art. Related events include faculty gallery talks, interdisciplinary lectures and a printmaking demonstration. The exhibition will be displayed through April 1.
