Ability to ADAPT
It was a day for students of all ability levels to participate in Paralympic and adaptive sports Saturday in an event called Badgers ADAPT at the Southeast Recreation Facility (SERF). Sitting volleyball, goalball, and the adapted biathlon were offered, along with presentations by an Olympic trainer and Paralympic swimmer. Badgers ADAPT was presented by Rec Sports in partnership with the Adapted Fitness Program of the Department of Kinesiology, the Division of University Housing and the McBurney Disability Resource Center, along with other campus and community partners.
