Slide show: Journey’s End

Thousands of graduating UW-Madison students, with family and friends surrounding them in the Kohl Center, participated in a series of five spring commencement ceremonies held May 13-15, 2011. In a first-ever announcement,  commencement speakers John and Tashia Morgridge, both UW alumni, pledged to match gifts made to the university by graduating seniors.

Whether earning a bachelor's, master's, doctoral or professional degree, each student was capping off an academic journey and about to take next steps.
