Commencement ceremonies — the crowning achievement of each academic year — are taking place on campus this weekend.

Arne Duncan, U.S. secretary of education, and James Kass, founder of Youth Speaks, a San Francisco-based organization that develops spoken-word programs for youth across the nation, were scheduled to give remarks during the weekend ceremonies.
