Since the Art Lofts opened its doors in May, its residents have welcomed the chance to build a new community. In addition to state-of-the-art facilities, including labs and exhibit space for several artistic disciplines, the building boasts private studio space for faculty and graduate students. Formerly scattered throughout campus, graduate students now enjoy a shared, purpose-built setting that fosters conversation and collaboration between fellow students and faculty members.

Members of the public can see the new building up close as they get a glimpse of artists at work during Studio Days, Nov. 4 and 5. (View event details.)
