Slide show: 9/11 Candlelight Vigil

On Sept. 11, 2009, a field of tiny American flags flutter in the wind as a small group of people gather on Bascom Hill for the third annual 9/11 Never Forget flag memorial and candlelight vigil to commemorate the thousands of lives lost in the 2001 terrorist attacks. The event was jointly hosted by the College Republicans and the College Democrats, both registered student organizations at UW-Madison.
