RE: TIP/Stress Relief Week
The Campus Information and Visitors Center will provide a series of free events designed to help students relax and have a little more fun during the end-of-semester crunch period.
Free "Stress Relief Week" events will take place at the Red Gym, 716 Langdon St., Monday, Dec. 8 through Friday Dec 12.
Among the scheduled events are meditation and relaxation classes, chair massages, test preparation workshops, Disney movie screenings, giveaways and a drawing for prizes.
For the first time, CIVC is organizing stress relief events. In addition to being "the gateway" to UW-Madison for prospective students and visitors, the office is also the central starting point for students with questions about the campus and the community. CIVC also provides an extensive listing of off-campus housing vacancies online.
Other sponsors include the Greater University Tutoring Services (GUTS), Recreational Sports, University Health Services (UHS), The Writing Center, Jamba Juice and the University Book Store.
