The James A Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the Wisconsin School of Business will host thought leaders in science, economics, and higher education at a conference to celebrate renowned former department chair James A. Graaskamp. The conference will take place June 6 and 7 at The American Club Resort in Kohler, Wis.

The keynote speakers include:

•Dr. Jamey Weichert, associate professor of radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and chief scientific officer at Madison-based pharmaceutical company Novelos. Weichert will explain how the innovative cancer therapies in development at UW-Madison and Novelos have the potential to transform the world of cancer diagnosis and treatment, as well as significantly improve outcomes for patients.

•François Ortalo-Magné, Albert O. Nicholas Dean of the Wisconsin School of Business, and David Krakauer, director of the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery.
