RE: CHANCELLOR FINALIST MEDIA AVAILABILITY
Nicholas P. Jones, a finalist for the University of Wisconsin-Madison chancellor position, will be on campus for public and media appearances on Tuesday, March 5.
Jones, Benjamin T. Rome Dean at the Whiting School of Engineering of The Johns Hopkins University, will hold a media availability from 3:15 to 3:45 p.m. in the Concerto Room of the Gordon Dining and Event Center, 770 W. Dayton St.
Photojournalists will have an opportunity to capture still shots or B-roll of Jones during a public reception from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in the Mead-Witter Lobby of the Chazen Museum of Art, 750 University Avenue. Jones will not be available for media questions during the reception.
Jones is the first of four finalists scheduled to visit during the next two weeks. He will be followed by Michael H. Schill, dean and Harry N. Wyatt Professor of Law at the University of Chicago Law School, on March 7; Kim A. Wilcox, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Michigan State University, on March 11; and Rebecca M. Blank, acting secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce, on March 13.
Details on the times and locations of media availabilities for Schill, Wilcox and Blank will be announced prior to their visits.
