RE: MORE DETAILS ON APRIL 6 ZIMMERMANN VIGIL

The vigil for slain University of Wisconsin-Madison student Brittany Zimmermann will begin on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in Great Hall of Memorial Union, 800 Langdon Street.

Inside Great Hall, there will be music from a UW-Madison string quartet, a display of photos and an opportunity for students to sign a condolence message and share memories about Zimmermann's life on campus.

After that is completed, the group will move from the Memorial Union to Library Mall. Participants will light candles and circle around the fountain to observe a moment of silence. Speakers will include representatives from Associated Students of Madison, the Wisconsin Union and Dean of Students Lori Berquam.
