More than 1,000 student volunteers will rock the Orpheum Theatre at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, for UW-Madison's first 10,000 Hours Show.

Last chance to submit essay for convocation speech contest
What would you tell new students about life on campus? Chancellor Wiley is asking students to write essays about life at the university, with the winner given the opportunity to address 5,500 new students from the floor of the Kohl Center at the Chancellor's Convocation on Aug. 31. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, May 2.
Enright finds a way with forgiveness curriculum
Bob Enright is bringing a "forgiveness curriculum" to teachers in Milwaukee public schools, where many work with children affected by community violence. The work reflects similar efforts Enright has made in Belfast, Ireland.

Film critic's lecture starts Romanian Film Festival

Use GUTS Drop-In Tutoring for end-of-term work
Get free drop-in tutoring from the Greater University Tutoring Service 3-11 p.m. every Sunday and 7-11 p.m. Monday-Wednesday. Hours vary by location. Physical Therapy Program hosts massage fundraiser
Physical therapy students will give massages to raise money for their professional organization, Phi Theta. Costs are $8 for 15 minutes and $15 for 30 minutes. The students also will answer any questions about musculoskeletal conditions or the Physical Therapy Program. 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, April 27, 4150 Medical Sciences Center.
