Celebrations honor 150 years of Greek life at UW-Madison
Alumni are coming back to campus this month for a weekend of fraternity and sorority events honoring the Greek community's 150th anniversary on campus; events take place Oct. 19-21.

Library ready to sell another 15,000 books
The Friends of the UW-Madison Libraries semiannual used book sale will be held for the 24th time Oct. 10-13 in room 116 of Memorial Library. A preview sale ($5 admission) will be held 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10. The regular sale, open to the public at no charge, will be 10:30 a.m.-7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 11, and Friday, Oct. 12. On Saturday, Oct. 13, from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. patrons can bring a bag and fill it for $3; bags will be available for $1 each.
