Members of the UW-Madison chapter of Engineers Without Borders spent their winter break in El Salvador beginning construction on a mostly gravity-based wastewater system that will link two communities in El Salvador to the sewer system of a nearby city.

Psychology gets undergraduate research down to a science
At this point this semester, the psychology department has 324 students working in its laboratory environments. And in the past decade, 5,823 students have enrolled in a research-based independent study program within the department -- an average of 215 per semester.

Registration open for International Experiment 2008
Register for the second annual International Experiment, a five-hour interactive role-playing event designed to simulate international relations and development around the world. Forming teams that represent different countries, corporations and global organizations, participants decide national priorities, address problems and navigate the complexities of advancement. The event takes place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on April 5.
