  • UW-Madison prepares for major snowstorm Dec. 18, 2008 As the University of Wisconsin-Madison enters the last days of final exams, the campus is preparing for a major snowstorm forecast to arrive on Thursday evening and linger into Friday morning, bringing with it up to a foot of snow. This storm has the potential to change the schedule of final exams. According to the National Weather Service, heavy snow and widespread blowing snow are expected.
  • University prepares for winter storm Dec. 8, 2008 The UW-Madison campus was preparing for the first major winter storm of the season with ice, sleet and snow expected beginning later today, Monday, Dec. 8 and heavy snow throughout the day Tuesday, Dec. 9.
