- Bucky Bus back for 2008 Sept. 2, 2008 The Bucky Bus shuttle will again operate this season for all home football games. The Athletic Department reached an agreement for shuttle service with Kobussen Buses Ltd. of Sun Prairie. Service will include approximately 17 full-size buses from lots 60/76 near the UW Hospital and 10 full-size buses from the downtown Madison parking ramps.
- Big Ten Network, Charter come to agreement Aug. 27, 2008 Charter Communications, Inc. and the Big Ten Network have reached an agreement-in-principle on terms of a multi-year distribution agreement in which Charter will carry the Big Ten Network and related programming throughout the Big Ten territory, including its systems in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Northern Illinois.

- Register now for Crazylegs Classic March 26, 2008 The 27th annual Crazylegs Classic will be held on Saturday, April 26, with Heisman Trophy winner and former Badger football star Ron Dayne serving as the event’s grand marshal. Dayne currently plays for the NFL’s Houston Texans.
- Men’s track wins eighth consecutive Big Ten indoor championship March 3, 2008 For a record eighth consecutive time, the University of Wisconsin men’s track and field team won the Big Ten Conference Indoor Championships. The Badgers used a home-track advantage in the Camp Randall Memorial Sports Center to score 127 points. Purdue placed second with 102 points while Ohio State finished third with 82 points.
