Women's Hockey Team wins third title; celebration tonight at Kohl Center

The Wisconsin women’s hockey team has done it again! Head coach Mark Johnson’s top-seeded Badgers secured their third NCAA title in four years with a 5-0 victory over No. 3 seed Mercyhurst in the NCAA championship game at Agganis Arena Sunday afternoon.
- U.S. Airways co-pilot to be Crazylegs grand marshal on April 25 March 17, 2009 Jeffrey Skiles, the co-pilot of the U.S. Airways plane that made a successful emergency landing in New York City’s Hudson River on Jan. 15, will serve as the grand marshal of the 2009 Crazylegs Classic on Saturday, April 25.

- Johnson named 2010 Olympic coach Jan. 27, 2009 Mark Johnson (Verona, Wis.) has been named the head coach of the 2010 U.S. Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Team, it was announced today by USA Hockey.
- Badgers athletes take time to say thanks Dec. 16, 2008 More than 230 student-athletes representing the majority of the 23 UW athletic teams volunteered their time last week to call more than 5,400 randomly selected donors nationwide to thank them for their financial support of Wisconsin Athletics. Donors who were not reached by telephone received a personal thank you note from a student-athlete.
