Do you still have questions as your student is preparing to come to UW-Madison this fall? We have answers!
The UW-Madison Parent Program will host a live Web chat designed for parents of first-year students from noon-1:30 p.m. (CDT) on Tuesday, Aug. 10.
Staff members from the Parent Program, Center for the First-Year Experience, University Housing, Office of Student Financial Aid and the Cross-College Advising Service will be on hand to answer questions about move-in and the initial transition of first-year students to campus life.
In addition, panelists can field questions about important things to bring, Wisconsin Welcome, relationships with roommates and friends, homesickness, academics, advising and financial aid.
Parents, along with the general public, can participate by logging on to the chat on this Web page at noon on Aug. 10.
You are encouraged to submit your own questions or simply observe the chat. If you can't participate, check back to the Parent Program website the following day for a complete transcript.
