Hands-on education
Approximately 30 pre-health students tour the Medical School's Anatomy Lab in the Medical Sciences Center during an educational event sponsored by AHANA Pre-Health Society, a student organization on campus. During the event, students were able to see several cadavers used for teaching and learn from first-year medical students about topics including tissue types, parts of the brain and the workings of the spinal cord. Pictured here, first-year medical student Brian Grogan, at right, talks about the spinal cord. (Photo: Jeff Miller)
